Visasindian Launches Visa Service For Medical Attendant Visa

Bangladesh, 3rd Jan 2025 - The Indian Medical Attendant Visa allows up to two family members to accompany a patient undergoing medical treatment in India on an e-Medical Visa. Valid for 60 days, it permits triple entry within this period but is non-extendable. Applicants need a valid passport, proof of funds, a return ticket, and an online application. This streamlined e-Visa process supports international medical travel, aligning its validity with the patient’s e-Medical Visa.

Indian Medical Attendant Visa

The healthcare sector in India is on the rise. India is acknowledged as a prominent provider of medical care for chronic conditions like cancer, even though it is more economical compared to developed nations. Relatives of patients undergoing treatment in India can apply for the Indian Physician Assistant Visa, also referred to as the Indian Electronic Attendant Visa. Only the family members of patients who are receiving care qualify for Physician Assistant Visas in India. For travel to India, a valid passport and a visa are necessary. Up to two persons may qualify for a Medical Assistant visa if they are traveling with an e-Medical Visa holder to India for treatment. This visa is valid for 60 days and cannot be extended. An e-Medical Visa holder is allowed to sponsor a maximum of two family members for a Physician Assistant Visa. The validity of Medical Assistant visas corresponds to that of the e-Medical visa. Once the e-Medical Assistant Visa is approved, it remains valid for 60 days from the date of arrival in India. Holders can remain in the country during this timeframe or may exit and re-enter up to two additional times within those 60 days. Foreign visitors can obtain an Electronic Physician Assistant Visa three times a year. However, this type of visa can only be used to travel with someone who has an e-Medical Visa and is undergoing medical treatment in India. Visitors must complete an online application to obtain this type of visa. Applicants must also scan the biography page of their passport to successfully apply for the Physician Assistant Visa.

Requirements for the India Medical Attendant Visa

  • A valid passport issued by a country that is eligible to apply for an Indian e-Visa.
  • The passport must not expire until at least 6 months after the intended date of entry to India and must have a minimum of 2 blank pages for stamps.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support themselves.
  • A return or onward ticket out of the country.
  • A valid email address to receive the E-visa.
  • You can use a Credit/debit card or PayPal account to pay for the E-Visa fees.
